Rock Pearls Album A Precious Collection Of Exceptional Vocal Talent - 7 June 2008
“Rock Pearls” is to be a collection of soft rock tracks, scheduled for release later this year. The new album will give you a chance to find out how versatile Lin’s vocal range really can be.
Back in March of this year, fans were treated to a musical taster of one of the tracks called “Harden My Heart” on Link FM Radio 92.2. Since then, Lin has been hard at work in her studio singing and producing the collection of tracks for the new album. If you are a soft rock fan, then you are going to love this album!
Since recording and releasing a beautiful collection of timeless & classic songs with the “Dreamaker” album, Lin has been busy creating this rich & dynamic new album to come, with the help of two new permanent additions to her vocal backing sound, called Voice2Voice. Di Selby has worked with Lin very closely on vocal ideas for many years & with Barry Morant; this completes what I can tell you are a perfect blend of backing vocal talent. Barry has worked with Lin also in the past and so she is working once again with familiar voices that also add those extra musical delights to the Lin Duffy sound on the new album.
My own personal experience of what is to come in the form of the “Rock Pearls” album is totally mind blowing. Invited into the studio last weekend during a rehearsal of some of the tracks for the album, I experienced a taster of what fans have to look forward to later this year.
The professionalism within the performances of these songs was apparent, & particularly Lin, makes light work of any song! Her original style is impeccable, & soft rock material really gives her voice that innovative sound even more so. Her vocal deliveries of these songs are dynamic & expressive.
Complete with full backing vocal sounds with a perfectly balanced blend, this album I believe is going to blow you away! “Rock Pearls” is a precious collection of exceptional vocal talent.

Happy Birthday Lin Duffy.com! - 12 April 2008
Today is the first aniversary of the official Lin Duffy website launch & what a fabulous musical year it has helped Lin to achieve!
In these past twelve months Lin has revealed to the entire world her amazing talents of singing and songwriting with the help of her website, which has now established her as a truely unique and remarkable performing artist.
A winner of a talent search competition progressed onto gaining a recording contract with a prestigious record label in the USA, D and M Records.
First came the "New Horizons" compilation album, with Lin having two of her winning songs included, "You Don't Know Me" & "Smile".
The ultimate was having her debut album, "Dreamaker" released on the D and M Record label, which is now on numerous digital download sites from iTunes to Rhapsody on a global scale. The hardcopy cd format can be purchased right here from lin's website, so if you haven't yet purchased this amazing album, then what are you waiting for?
Radio interviews have followed & airplay of tracks from the album are beginning to spread on radio networks around the world.
Not bad for 12 months on the internet huh!?
So, what's next for this talented lady who has kept a musical timebomb secret for so long?
Lin's record label have now changed location from California to the "Musical Capital Of The World", Branson, Missouri.
Within the past few days negotiations have taken place between theatre owners and the label, who have secured a lucrative deal with the owners. This of course means some exiting performances to come for Lin of which she so richly deserves.
Lin is also also working on a soft rock album scheduled for release later in the year, which is going to showcase her powerful soft rock style.
Lin your stage is waiting for you & congratulations on all the tremendous success you have achieved this past year!

Lin is currently engaged with a radio tour of the UK,
and this 1 hour special, recorded with Presenter, Tony Nugus is dedicated to Lin Duffy and her excellent debut album, "Dreamaker".
This fantastic show will reveal not only Lin's amazing vocal qualities, but also her warm, friendly personality which was felt in the studio that day.
Lin will be sharing with you, her personal memories of the songs from the "Dreamaker" album, of which you will then begin to understand why each and every song on the album, is performed from Lin's heart & soul.

Record Label Proposal - 30 October 2007
Lin is very pleased to announce that she has recently received a record label proposal from D & M Music in the USA.
She is simply overwhelmed & has accepted the agreement for production of a 10-12 track album.
The album will be produced on the D & M Records label with distribution for sale at D & M Music's online music store & other locations.
Digital placement of the CD will be provided for iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Sony Connect, eMusic, Amazon, & many other digital distributors worldwide!
