Today is the first aniversary of the official Lin Duffy website launch & what a fabulous musical year it has helped Lin to achieve!
In these past twelve months Lin has revealed to the entire world her amazing talents of singing and songwriting with the help of her website, which has now established her as a truely unique and remarkable performing artist.
A winner of a talent search competition progressed onto gaining a recording contract with a prestigious record label in the USA, D and M Records.
First came the "New Horizons" compilation album, with Lin having two of her winning songs included, "You Don't Know Me" & "Smile".
The ultimate was having her debut album, "Dreamaker" released on the D and M Record label, which is now on numerous digital download sites from iTunes to Rhapsody on a global scale. The hardcopy cd format can be purchased right here from lin's website, so if you haven't yet purchased this amazing album, then what are you waiting for?
Radio interviews have followed & airplay of tracks from the album are beginning to spread on radio networks around the world.
Not bad for 12 months on the internet huh!?
So, what's next for this talented lady who has kept a musical timebomb secret for so long?
Lin's record label have now changed location from California to the "Musical Capital Of The World", Branson, Missouri.
Within the past few days negotiations have taken place between theatre owners and the label, who have secured a lucrative deal with the owners. This of course means some exiting performances to come for Lin of which she so richly deserves.
Lin is also also working on a soft rock album scheduled for release later in the year, which is going to showcase her powerful soft rock style.

Lin now in full swing with her radio tour, will be off to London on the 1st of March to record a 1 hour radio special!
Tony Nugus, Radio Presenter with Link FM has a special place within Lin's musical world. He will be making it possible for Lin's debut album "Dreamaker" to gain even more recognition that it so truely deserves, as interviews with Lin & airplay of the tracks are lined up for the near future.

This is fantastic news for Lin this week!!! After becoming a recent winner of D & M Music's recent "Talent Search" competition, Lin is about to become a new independent artist soon to release her debut album!
Now signed with D & M Records in the USA, her debut album is scheduled for release in 2008.
The album will be entitled "Dreamaker", & will be produced on the D & M Records label.
The songs include timeless tracks that will present to you a unique voice that will astound your ears!

Lin is very pleased to announce that she has recently received a record label proposal from D & M Music in the USA.
She is simply overwhelmed & has accepted the agreement for production of a 10-12 track album.
The album will be produced on the D & M Records label with distribution for sale at D & M Music's online music store & other locations.
Digital placement of the CD will be provided for iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Sony Connect, eMusic, Amazon, & many other digital distributors worldwide!
This will provide Lin with the opportunity to reach a massive audience around the globe.
Work is now in progress for the title of the album, cover design, & of course, the tracks to be included in what will be a tremendous debut album.

Well if you think you have heard all that Lin has to offer vocally, then please listen to her latest live performances!
This week there are three new classic songs for your listening pleasure, of which have that "WOW" factor about them.
'Walk Away' a classic song recorded by Matt Monro, will leave you swept away after you hear Lin sing her beautiful rendition.
'Softly As I Leave You' another beautiful song made a hit by Matt Monro, has been reproduced by Lin sounding like velvet.
Finally, a famous Shirley Bassey hit 'Never. Never, Never', will leave you wanting more, more, more!
I Feel sure you will agree that these wonderful ballads enhance Lins already fantastic vocal range & style.

Three new songs have been added to the music page this week. 'Black Velvet' & 'Drive' are live recordings of Lin performing in her rock genre role.
The third song in contrast to these two, is a beautiful ballad entitled 'For The Good Times'. This song is also a live performance.
